Your responsibilities
Are you a skilled automation engineer with experience in developing and/or maintaining control systems for large complex devices?
Then seize the opportunity and join the Safety and Operation (SO) section of the ATLAS Detector (ADO) group of the Experimental Physics (EP) department. Within our team, you will contribute to the design, development, construction and commissioning of the Detector Safety System (DSS) for the ATLAS Experiment. Take part!
Your main activities will consist of:
Design of the safety matrices for new sub-systems;
Consolidating existing interlocks, actuators, and alarms;
Decommissioning of the existing control system;
Upgrade of safety systems like water leak modules;
Participation in regular maintenance of safety systems - Produce technical documentation of test results and procedures.
